The weekend is here and I am sure you can’t wait to pamper yourself. The truth is you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a Spa treatment, you can also get it at home. Here are five home facials you can try. The beauty is you have all the ingredients in your pantry.

1. Avocado Mask

1/2 Avocado

1 tablespoon of yogurt (plain or Greek)

1 egg white

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Mix all the ingredients together and apply on your damp skin. Rinse it off after 10-15 minutes. This is great for people with oily skin.

2. Banana & Oats Mask

1 tablespoon of oats (not instant)

1 tablespoon of yogurt (plain or Greek)

1/2 banana

Blend the oats for about 3 minutes. When it is smooth add in the other ingredients and blend. Apply the mixture on your face for about 10 minutes then rise. Your face is going to instantly glow.

3. Milk Mask

3 tablespoons of milk

1 tablespoon of lime juice

pinch of turmeric powder

1 tablespoon of honey

Apply the mixture on your face. Leave it on for about 15 minutes then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

4.  Tomato and Honey Mask

1 Tomato

2 tablespoons of Honey

Mash the tomato and the honey to it. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 25 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and be sure to find your skin glowing.

5. Milk Powder Mask

1 tablespoon of milk powder

1/2 tablespoon of olive/almond oil

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of lime juice

Mix all the ingredients above in a container and apply on your face. Wait till it dries or for 20 mins and rinse well with lukewarm water.

Just remember that all the recipes that have either lime or lemon should not be done if you are planning on going out in the sun. Your skin can get irritated if you do that. It’s advisable you apply those recipes at night before you go to bed.
