When we are under too much stress, there are a number of signs that tell us. But how does stress affect our skin? Here are seven ways stress affects our skin
1. Under eye bags
Stress leads to lack of sleep, and lack of sleep leads to under eye bags. When you are really stressed, you’ll find it hard to sleep this leads to bags underneath the eyes.
2. Dry Skin:
Chances are if you are stressed out you dehydrated. You are probably taking a lot of coffee and soda. This can leave your skin dehydrated and it is bad for your skin. Your skin will be looking like paper.
3. Stress can worsen skin conditions.
If you have eczema, acne or psoriasis, stress will only worsen it.
4. Frown lines can appear
If you are stressed, it will be hard for you to smile. You will be frowning a lot and this affects your skin.
5. Your hair starts to fall out
The condition is called Telegon Effluvium, and occurs because your hair stops following its usual pattern of growing and falling out when you’re super-stressed. But not to worry when you are calm and relaxed your hair will start growing back.
6. Rashes and Hives
They are caused by a dysbiosis, aka an imbalance in your gut. They crop up when stress takes over and too much bad bacteria outweighs the good. So, if you think your skin is reacting to something, it’s most likely reacting to your stress level.
7. Grey Hair
